As you may have noticed I’m a little obsessed with time (I think I may have mentioned that before) I never seem to be able to get the hang of time management or prioritising. Maybe it’s because I’m not as organised as I need to be? Maybe it’s because I have the concentration span of a Goldfish or maybe it’s just that I try to do too many things at the same time and then stress when I don’t finish them all. The more I stress the less I do and so the circle continues. I’ve improved over the last few years but I still don’t feel in control of my time.

12 years ago today we said goodbye to Ian Dury.

I found this link on the Blockheads Blog, remember him this way it said. And why not? It may be an advert but the message is no less valid because of that.

Sieze the day, we only get one chance to live and in the words of Mr Dury (and the Sunday Times copywriters)

Don’t accept what life throws at you – chuck something back once in a while.
