I decided to do something radical this Halloween and cook the Pumpkin we’d bought instead of carving it. Mainly because we were away on Halloween weekend but also because I never got round to it and as the pumpkin was bought from Newlyns our local farm shop it was actually edible unlike the average supermarket Pumpkin that you get this time of year.
So in the absence of a Pumpkin I carved a Courgette! They were left in the ground way to long and were the size of Marrows, hard and completely inedible so rather than waste it I made Colin the (worlds first?) Halloween Courgette.
